#DarwinDays - Meet Sarah
Meet Sarah – our go-to gal for weddings, wow-factor florals, and all things content.
Originally from the charming county of Lincolnshire, UK, Sarah didn’t start out with scissors in hand. She trained as an archaeologist (yes, really!) before swapping digs for dahlias more than a decade ago.
Since then, she’s freelanced across the UK and Europe with some of the biggest names in flowers, managed for Rebel Rebel in London, and brought her sharp eye and creative flair to every bouquet she touched. Sarah made the move to Australia in 2019 and has been chasing the sunshine—and new favourite flower—ever since.
These days, you’ll find her in Darwin with Beija Flor, crafting dreamy wedding florals, creating our fabulous content, and keeping us all inspired with her love of colour, creativity and a good challenge (especially if it involves a floral installation).

Favourite Flower?
My absolute favourites are bearded iris. I also love clematis, garden roses and anemones. My style is wild, textured and free flowing. I adore colour, especially dark purples and pinks. Perhaps I'm a little Goth at heart...

Favourite Location in Darwin?
During the day, anywhere I can swim safely! Berry Springs is a regular spot to find me on my days off, following by Florence Falls. By night, I'll probably be dancing at Bustard Town, eating Roti at Ella by Minoli's or drinking a watermelon marg at Bar Kokomo.
