Shipping policy

Same Day Delivery

We offer a same-day delivery service across Darwin and Palmerston and selected surrounding rural areas up to approximately 70 km from our Coconut Grove location. See our full list of suburbs covered and pricing.

We do not operate on Northern Territory (Darwin) public holidays. We aim to deliver on your chosen delivery date to the address requested by you. We cannot be liable to you for any losses, liabilities, costs, damages, charge or expenses arising out of late delivery.

The cost of delivery is dependent on the suburb and fees start at $22. This is subject to change and will be updated on our site as changes occur.

We use our own refrigerated delivery vans as well as sub-contracted courier services.

Recipient Contact Details

Please supply a mobile phone number for the recipient. Our delivery team may contact them prior to delivery or if they are unavailable at the address provided to arrange re-delivery or pick up or to seek authority to leave.

Delivery Hours

Our delivery hours are between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm. Please note, we are not able to guarantee delivery at a specific time of day.

We endeavour to deliver all orders to business addresses between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm and deliveries to schools within 8:00 am and 3:00 pm, provided orders are placed at least three (3) hours prior.

Excluded Addresses

We cannot deliver to PO boxes. Please note that it might not be possible for us to deliver to some locations. If this is the case, We will make all reasonable attempts to contact you using the details you provided.

Authority to Leave

On delivery of the Product, a signature may be required for delivery, unless you grant us authority to leave ‘ATL’. If you grant ATL you understand and agree that this authority to leave gives us and/or our selected couriers permission to leave the order in question unattended by the front door - or, where applicable, at the reception desk of the delivery address without obtaining a signature.

Our delivery team will not leave your order if there is not a safe place to leave it or if it would be detrimental to the product, even if ATL has been provided. Due to the Darwin climate it is often not ideal to leave perishable products such as flowers and chocolates on the doorstep.

Orders containing alcohol cannot be left unattended and in this case the entire order will be returned to our shop if there is no-one available to receive the order.

Undeliverable Items

An order is considered undeliverable if the Recipient’s address is incomplete, incorrect, or cannot be located, or if there is no one at the address to receive the order and there is nowhere safe to leave it, or if the order is refused by the Recipient. Where there is no one available to receive the order, it will be returned to Beija Flor and a card will be left at the Recipient’s address to advise them to collect it from the shop. Due to the perishable nature of our products (flowers), it is recommended that recipients collect their gift within 24 hours. Beija Flor cannot be held responsible for delays in the collection of gifts and is not liable for the condition of perishable goods, such as flowers, that have not been collected within 24 hours of the attempted delivery. Beija Flor is not responsible for gifts not collected by the Recipient.

Delivery Access

Our delivery team sometimes encounters problems with accessing units, apartments and gated properties. When placing your order, you are responsible for ensuring that the Recipient will be available on the day to receive the gift.

Incorrect and Incomplete Addresses

We cannot be held responsible for an incorrect address being entered on your order. Address confirmation is given on the checkout section of the Site. If this is not noticed until after your order is finalised, please contact us immediately. We will attempt to update any incorrect order details. If We are unable to deliver due to incorrect or incomplete address details, We may redeliver, subject to additional delivery charge. Delay in resolving delivery details may incur further fees for replacement of perishable products (flowers) that need to be replenished.

Delivering Orders Containing Alcohol

Purchases containing alcohol cannot be left unattended on delivery or delivered to minors. If there is no one available to receive the order, the entire order will be returned to our shop for collection.

Delivery Notifications

You will receive an update once your order is on board for delivery with an estimated time of arrival. Please note this is an estimate only and is subject to change. You will receive a further update once delivery has been made.
