Mothers Day in Darwin
Mother's Day is on Sunday, 12 May.
This mothers day, we've chosen a floral colour palette inspired by our stunning Darwin sunsets, with wide fresh varieties in apricots, mauves, oranges, dusty pinks and cerise shades.
Our Mother's Day selection includes Australian-grown garden roses, one of our favourite varieties is 'mojo' with hot pink outer petals, opening with an apricot centre. For longer-lasting blooms, choose from cerise sweet williams, magenta oriental lilies or spectacular cymbidium orchids.
The studio will be open on Sunday, 12 May, from 8am until sold out, so pick up a bunch early or place your order for delivery on Saturday or Sunday. Our fresh flower selection is also available at Parap Fine Foods, ideal for shopping at Parap Village Markets on a Saturday morning.
We'll also have a selection of petite gifts for the kids to give mum, flower-filled jars for $35, orchid bunches for $25, and single-stem roses.
Mindel Beach Market is the most popular spot to catch the sunset. We also love the Nightcliff foreshore, Fannie Bay from East Point, or the Darwin Sailing Club. My personal favourite is taking in a sunset on Darwin Harbour with a sailing cruise with Sail Darwin from Stokes Hill Wharf.
